I started this amazing practice of yoga in 2002.
I remember how nervous and curious I felt as I entered my first class.
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect beyond the stretching and balancing
but I quickly realized it encompassed much more than that. I found that
yoga not only kept me limber, balanced and focused on the mat, but off the mat
as well. I came across a whole new practice which helped me to cope with
the common stresses of life. I have come to know a new sense of
awareness, stillness and concentration that I strive to use in my daily life
and relationships with others. My practice continues to grow and evolve
and I have found that there is always so much more to learn and discover.
I completed my 200-hour certification with Wendy Dahl and Blue Sun Teacher Training in 2009 and I am registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT). Gentle, Basic and
Intermediate Vinyasa Flow classes are what I enjoy teaching most. I believe that yoga is accessible to everyone. Through my teaching, it is
my hope that I can share with my students the same discoveries I have made. My goal is to impress upon my students that yoga is a life-long and
constantly evolving practice which is empowering as well as enjoyable.
