Moving away from my career as a professional dancer and modern dance teacher, I decided to explore more fully the practice and teaching of yoga. I completed the teacher training program at The Chicago Yoga Center under the direction of Suddha Weixler in 2003, and continually seek out workshops and classes with recognized teachers in all styles of yoga and meditation.
I am ever appreciative of the ongoing education I receive and of the limitless gifts yoga can offer. My hope is that classes are filled with enthusiasm and curiosity for this practice, as well as attention to the individual alignment of our unique bodies, connection to the breath, the celebration large and small of what we are capable of, and the shear enjoyment of our bodies moving in space. |
