The Warming House Youth Center offers 6th through 12th graders the opportunity to enjoy a structured and supportive environment. Teens can speak freely in a confidential space, seek guidance from staff and peers, build healthy peer relationships, and develop valuable leadership skills. The professional staff is trained to assess teen needs and address relevant issues through educational, prevention-based, and recreational program offerings.
Haven Youth and Family Services has been serving youth and their families since 1976. Haven began as an outreach program for youth and has continued to grow and develop throughout the years. Programs such as crisis response and prevention activities were added, as well as the counseling program, which has become one of our most frequent methods of delivering service to the community. Today, Haven responds to the physical and emotional needs of youth and their families by providing emergency housing services, individual, group, and family therapy, 24-hour crisis intervention, daily outreach to area schools, psycho-educational workshops, youth leadership positions, and service-learning opportunities.
